Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my courses not on Moodle?
If you have just registered for a course, it can take up to 48 hours for it to appear. Otherwise, if the course has not begun, it is possible that the instructor has hidden it.
Some courses do not have an official Moodle course. Wait until the first day of class for your instructor to inform you of the syllabus. You can find out your classroom and time on CBU Compass.
Why is there no content on my Moodle course?
The amount of content placed on Moodle is up to the instructor. Some courses do not have anything more than a syllabus. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact your instructor.
Why can I not access Moodle?
You must be active in at least one course in order to access Moodle.
What does 'Error 500 - Internal Server Error' mean?
This error means there are too many people trying to access the Moodle server at once. It should resolve within 15 minutes. Do not continue to refresh the page.
Are my Moodle grades the same as my final grades?
No. Your Moodle grades are unofficial and simply a way instructors may keep track of marks. Some courses do not use Moodle grades.
