Change Your CBU Account Password

Overview 

  • You can manually reset your password via our self-serv tool or by visiting this link:
    https://changepass.cbu.ca

Instructions

  1. From any Office 365 Sign-in page, select Forgot My Password link

  2. Enter your CBU email

  3. Choose an authentication method. CBU’s preferred authentication method is the Authenticator app. After you have chosen your authentication method, you must authenticate yourself. Once you provide the correct responses, you can select Next.

  4. Navigate to your Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone. Click on your CBU account and enter the 6 digit "One Time Pass Code" that is displaying into the "Enter your verification code" box. (Note that this code is dynamic and will change every 30 seconds so do not be alarmed if its changing constantly).

  5. On the Choose a new password page, enter a new password, confirm your password, and then select Finish.

  6. When you see the message Your password has been reset you can sign in with your new password.
