Clearing Internet Browsing Data (Cookies/Cache) - Mozilla FireFox

Overview 

  • Browsing the web or logging into various accounts can be hindered sometimes by cached credentials. It is good practice when experiencing issues with websites loading or logging in to clear your browsing data as a first line of troubleshooting.

Instructions

  1. Select the 3 line bar on the right hand side as shown in the picture below

  2. From here we want to select history. There will be new options available. We want to choose clear recent history. Once you click that a new window will appear. We want to make sure we check off the following: Browsing & download history, Cookies, Cache, Active logins and Form & search history.

  3. Click Clear Now and your browsing data will be cleared. Reboot your browser.
