Clearing Internet Browsing Data (Cookies/Cache) - Microsoft Edge

Overview 

  • Browsing the web or logging into various accounts can be hindered sometimes by cached credentials. It is good practice when experiencing issues with websites loading or logging in to clear your browsing data as a first line of troubleshooting.

Instructions

  1. On Microsoft Edge simply click the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner. We then want to select settings from the drop down that appears. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  2. From here we want to navigate to Privacy, search and services click here and scroll down to Clear Browsing DataUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  3. Click Choose what to clear and a new window should appear. Within this window we want to change the time range to All time and we want to ensure Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data and Cached

  4. Click Clear now and it should clear all your browsing data. Reopen the browser and proceed to browse.
