Clearing Internet Browsing Data (Cookies/Cache) - Google Chrome

Overview 

  • Browsing the web or logging into various accounts can be hindered sometimes by cached credentials. It is good practice when experiencing issues with websites loading or logging in to clear your browsing data as a first line of troubleshooting.

Instructions

  1. Open Google Chrome and press the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner. We want to select the Clear Browsing Data option.

  2. A new window will appear and we want to make sure that we select All time in the time range dropdown box. We also want to ensure we have checkmarks on Browsing history, Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  3. Click clear data and restart Google Chrome.
