How to Submit a Ticket
Overview
Learn how to submit a ticket in our new service platform.
Instructions
Navigate to
CBU TDX
In the top right-hand corner select
Sign In
Once signed in, select
Services
in the top toolbar
You will see a list of categories. Choose the category that is appropriate to the issue you are experiencing. For this demonstration we will use Moodle.
Click the service
Request Moodle Support
and a service page will load up with information about the service.
As shown in the photo you can see the right hand side has a few buttons. In almost every service there will be a button to
Request
support. This is the process of creating a ticket for your issue.
Click
Request Moodle Support
and a form should populate.
Each service will sometimes require certain info in order to submit the ticket. The small blue question mark bubbles are there to provide context to the field so if you are unsure you can click on the ? and it will provide an explanation.
Once you have submitted the information you will see that the request has been created successfully.
You can click on any of the links that are listed in the above photo if you want to create another ticket of this service, view the ticket you have just created or view all of your current ticket requests.
E-mail Reply Feature
TDX is setup in a way you can respond to tickets via your email from the notification. For example:
A service desk member responds to one of your requests. You will be sent an email notification if there is any changes/updates. You can simply reply directly from the email itself rather than navigating to the client portal.
Note**
If a service desk member sends files you will be unable to view them in the e-mail. You need to login to the client portal to view your requests and any attachments that would have been sent.
